how to transfer a book from kindle to amazon account to ipod.
i have my kindle that was registered to my parents account but now i have it registered to my own account but, i dont know how to take the old books off my kindle and put them on to my amazon account so i can download them to my ipod. ugh! someone please help.
I’m sorry that you just can’t transfer a kindle book from an account to another. Amazon just doesn’t allow it. So the best thing you can do will be to login the Kindle app on iPod with another Amazon account to read that book. After finish, then you login back to your own account. Here you can find the details of registering and deregistering on your Kindle app of iPod:http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/d…Hope this helps.
how do I move books from one kindle to another.
I’ve been borrowing my friends kindle and bought some books.. I got my own for Christmas and now I want to transfer my books to that, but don’t know how!!
You cannot transfer them from one Amazon account to another. The ebooks belong to the Amazon account they were purchased on and the DRM copy protection in them only allows them to be read on Kindle devices/apps registered to that account. So if you plan to have your own Amazon account and register your Kindle to it, your Kindle will be able to read the ebooks you buy on YOUR account. Once account can have multiple Kindles and Kindle apps. One Kindle can only be registered to one account (at a time) and can only hold books from that account. However, if you bought any within the last 7 days, your friend could go to their Manage Your Kindle page on Amazon (your friend will sign in with their account) and if they find books you bought less than 7 days ago they can return them for a refund. This is Manage Your Kindlehttps://www.amazon.com/manageyourkindleNote – After you have created your Amazon account your friend could TRY asking Amazon to move your books over from her account to yours. Maybe they will do it as a favor – it is not part of their policy.
How do you transfer a purchased Kindle title to another account.
My mother came to stay with me for a few months and I let her use my Kindle while she was here. She fell in love with it and bought her own. Thus, she has her own Amazon account now.The problem is she wants to keep the books she purchased while using mine, but they’re tied to my account. How do I transfer…
You don’t. But try calling Amazon’s customer service and see if there’s anything that they can do on the server end. It can’t hurt to try.
Can I transfer my Kindle books to another Kindle.
I have the original Kindle and I’m going to get the Kindle Fire for Christmas. Instead of rebuying books, can I just transfer the books on my old Kindle to the new one? How do I go about doing it?
Just register your new Kindle Fire with your Amazon account and your purchased Kindle books will be automatically synced. Don’t worry about that.Tap the upper right corner on your Kindle Fire -> More -> My Account -> Register. That’s it.
How do I transfer ALL of my books to another kindle.
I have registered my account to another kindle and deregistered the old one so a couple of my books have been transferred, I want ALL of the books transferred! Thanks
Well, you have run into the major flaw in Kindle, Nook, and Ipad. Those three names account for almost 100% of the ebook market, and all three companies are trying very hard to screw their customers while also squeezing out the other two companies. Amazon has demonstrated several times that it will refuse to deliver books you have paid for if they decide there was something not nice about them, or if they get into a squabble with the publisher, or other reasons. They are also doing nasty tricks to authors. I suggest you simply refuse to do business with these guys until they clean up their act. There is no good reason to give money to a store with a reputation for refusing to deliver.
how can you transfer a registered kindle to another account without deregistering it.
i have 2 kindles registered on my account but i want to know how to transfer one kindle to another account without de-registering it
Not possible as each Kindle needs to be registered to one Amazon account. You can deregister the old Kindle, without resetting it, though. That will leave the current books on that Kindle for the new user to read. The other possibility is for you and the new owner to agree to share an account. That way everything that is bought will be available on both Kindles.
How to transfer kindle library to another kindle using a different amazon account.
Ok so I’ve had a kindle for a few years using my dads amazon account and i have about 200 books which I would like to keep. But I just got a new kindle for Christmas and my dad wants me to use my own amazon account (without his credit card on it) but I don’t know how to transfer the books from his amazon…
Go on Amazon to Manage Kindle find your books and download and transfer via USB. I don’t think there is a way to really transfer the books, but you should be able to access through your dad’s account.
How do I transfer a book from one kindle account to another.
I bought an expensive critical care nursing book on my husbands kindle. now that I have my own, I would like it on my kindle. is there a way to do that? He uses his kindle all the time so I would not be able to keep it with me for a long enough time to benefit from the book.
Kindle books can be shared on multiple Kindle devices/apps, if the devices/apps are registered to the same Amazon account. Here you can find the details on such sharing:http://budurl.com/ShareContentKindlesIf this is not what you want, try to contact Amazon support, and see if they can offer any help. Tell them that the book is purchased using a wrong Amazon account, and see if they can help to transfer it to the correct Amazon account.
